About the role
We're seeking a highly motivated Graduate to join our Finance System and Reporting team. Collaborating closely with your team, you’ll have a significant impact on enhancing processes, evaluating new system advancements, and contributing to the creation of top-notch finance dashboards. Your proactive approach will help you become an expert in systems, data, and Reporting.
Here's a distinctive chance for you to propel your career toward becoming a versatile analyst. You’ll encounter a diverse range of tasks, leveraging your university education to tackle finance team challenges. There’s potential for mentorship towards becoming a chartered or certified accountant. Moreover, you’ll receive on-the-job training, delving into insurance accounting alongside experienced professionals. Additionally, you’ll gain and utilise technical proficiencies in Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI.
We highly value individuals with the right attitude, a thirst for learning, and a proactive growth mindset.
This position offers a hybrid arrangement, stationed at our headquarters on the Sunshine Coast, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
About you
You will have:
- A recent Accounting, Business, or IT degree with a good academic record.
- Ideally a desire to complete your CPA or CA qualification if you possess an accounting background.
- A passion for all things systems, data, and innovation
- A consistent drive for self-improvement, continuous learning, and personal growth.
- A dedicated team player with great communication skills and an unwavering "can-do" attitude.
- Exceptional time management abilities and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
