Senior Communications Specialist

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our dynamic Communications and Marketing team.We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to fill a pivotal role in our organisation on a two-year contract covering parental leave and contributing to our ongoing business growth.Reporting directly to the Communications and Marketing Manager, the Senior Communications Specialist plays a key role in driving the development and implementation of NRW’s external and internal communications strategy.Key responsibilities of the Senior Communications Specialist include:

• Collaborating with our Executive team to develop corporate and investor related materials including financial reports, annual reports and investor presentations
• Developing and managing effective external and internal communications for the NRW Holdings brand that are consistent and communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging
• Writing, editing and proofing a wide range of material and communications for external and internal purposes
• Leading the development and implementation of proactive communication plans to support key business programs

To be successful in this position you will require:

• Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4 years experience in a role covering corporate communications, external affairs or public relations
• Previous experience with an ASX-listed company
• Previous experience within the Civil and/or Mining sectors would be highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to stringent deadlines
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills along with excellent proofreading skills
