ABOUT THE JOB
The primary responsibilities as Graduate landscape architect will include:
- Site analysis
- Written and graphic communication material for a range of project types
- Supporting the design team in concept design and detailed documentation work
- 3D visual design work
ABOUT YOU
The role would suit candidates with an understanding of landscape design in an urban context. Candidates should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- A degree with first class honours in a relevant field, such as landscape architecture
- An interest in landscape design and green infrastructure design including fields as diverse as parklands, public domain, waterways and foreshores, blue-green infrastructure and urban ecology
- Sound analytical skills, including an understanding of techniques for analysing various types of physical and spatial information
- Strong willingness to learn new things including new software
- Excellent visual communication skills including high quality graphic communication skills.
- Good written communication skills will be well regarded
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in 3D design tools such as Rhino/Revit will be well regarded
- Experience using Autodesk products including AutoCAD or Civil3D would be well regarded
- Experience using GIS would be a benefit
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work collaboratively across boundaries.
- Ability to work well under pressure and be self-motivated
