Graduate Planning & Environmental Lawyer

The Position:

We are seeking applications from a solicitor to join its Planning and Environment team in its Underwood office.

The position offered is on a full time basis. While long-established to support flexible-working arrangements as needed, the position is generally on-site and working in our newly renovated office facility located just off the Pacific Highway. Parking is available on-site.

 The successful candidate will:

• Learn from experienced senior practitioners.
• Provide clients with legal advice on a range of property, planning and environment related issues.
• Conduct litigation in the Planning and Environment Court, Land Court and Magistrates Court.
• Manage client relationships and the day to day conduct of matters.
• Possess strong technical and drafting skills.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be highly motivated and have effective attention to detail.
• Have the ability to work autonomously and collaborate on complicated matters across the firm.

About you:

We are looking for a solicitor to practice in the area of planning and environment law. Ideally applicants will have experience working in this area of the law, be highly motivated and resilient, hold strategic thinking capabilities, be a team player with the ability to build relationships with clients and other members of our team.
