Hays are looking for a Graduate level Planning Officer to join a Perth-based Government Authority on a temporary basis. This role is looking to start ASAP and continue until June 28th 2024.
Your new role
Reporting to the Manager Planning, you will assist the Strategy, Planning and Performance team with a variety of planning tasks including:
- Development applications
- Administrative support for organisational planning operations
- Drafting letters to Local Government and tenants as appropriate
- Providing strategic support for projects
- Ensuring organisational Asset register remains up to date and accurate
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Urban / Regional Planning, or working towards completing honours or post-graduate qualification in this area
- Knowledge of urban planning
- Computer and communication skills
