The Fairbrother Graduate Program is a two-year, full-time pathway that gives you the opportunity to build upon the knowledge gained through your academic studies. You will work alongside highly skilled and respected team members, learning and building experience on the job.

As a Construction Graduate, you will be exposed to many different areas of our business including:

  1. New business and estimating
  2. Design management
  3. Quality management
  4. Contracts awareness and administration
  5. Workplace safety, and environmental management
  6. Document Control & Reporting
  7. Services and ESD
  8. On-site tendering
  9. Programming
  10. Site management
  11. Industrial relations

At the end of the Fairbrother Graduate Program, you'll be ready to specialise in any of these areas, with the real likelihood of ongoing employment opportunities throughout Tasmania and Victoria.

Who are our ideal Graduate Program participants?

  1. You are studying or have recently completed academic studies in civil engineering, architecture/design management or construction management
  2. You have relevant working rights in Australia for no less than 2-years to fulfill the Graduate Program
  3. You are seeking full-time employment for a minimum of 2 years
  4. You are interested in a career in commercial or industrial construction
  5. You are committed to practical learning and development in a paid employment role.

What studies will be considered?

  1. Bachelor of Applied Science (Architectural Science, Construction Management, or similar)
  2. Bachelor of Construction Management
  3. Bachelor of Design (Architecture)
  4. Bachelor of Engineering (construction related major)
  5. Bachelor of Graphic Design (construction related major advantageous)
  6. Masters in a relevant construction field
