As part of the Graduate Registered Nurse Program you will work closely with other health professionals in Multi-disciplinary teams to deliver direct and comprehensive care to our residents, while supporting Enrolled Nurses and Residential Care Workers on shift. Location : Clare, Jamestown and Port Pirie You’ll also make an impact by: Using evidence-based approaches to deliver quality care to residents Ensuring assigned resident care is performed in line with care standards and Helping Hand policies and procedures Conducting assessments, reviews, coordinate care with the team, and develop plans of care Liaising with family members, doctors, care workers and allied health professionals to support the wellbeing of the residents This innovative Graduate Registered Nurse Program consists of the following: Year 1 – Enrolment in the ANMEC Graduate Registered Nurse Program which is fully funded by Helping Hand and runs for 6 months. The Graduates will be supported with paid study time to attend the ANMEC training and follow up sessions with Helping Hands highly experienced teams of Clinical Educators, on-site Mentors and site management teams. During the second half of Year 1, metro based Graduates will undertake a regional rotation. Year 2 gives the Graduate the opportunity to undertake further study in an area of interest related to Aged Care utilising the Helping Hand study support program What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: A Bachelor of Nursing qualification A current AHPRA registration The ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook) Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
