Graduate Surveyor

Our Client:Our client is a leading surveying and geospatial solutions company providing a range of services to clients across various sectors.  As part of their continual growth, they are looking to add a graduate or intermediate surveyor to the team to work out of the Newcastle office, servicing clients' needs in the Hunter region. This is a permanent and full time opportunity. 

What you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for maintaining survey vehicles and calibrating equipment when necessary.
• Undertakes survey calculations using various software packages to prepare set out files for field use.
• Takes survey observations using modern technology to define or map terrain, identify specific locations on structures or earthworks, and provide as-built reports.
• Under supervision, measure and calculate cadastral boundaries and easements.
• Utilize field measurements for survey calculations and prepare well-presented reports

What you will bring:

• Bachelor or Diploma in surveying, spatial sciences or equivalent
• Well-presented interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Willing to work out of both office and field environments, adapting to changing conditions
• Uptake and comply with rules and regulations
• Willingness to travel to remote sites for jobs
