The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Graduate or 1st year Lawyer in Commercial Dispute Resolution. The role is based at our Sydney office. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in this area of law and aspires to a long term career, with opportunities for progression, within our growing CommercialDispute Resolution practice.
You will be given an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment with exposure to a diverse range of commercial and equity matters including building and construction disputes, corporate and share-holder disputes, contractual disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, employment law and wills and estates litigation.

Key Responsibilities include:
- assisting solicitors with the conduct of matters across different jurisdictions including NCAT, Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court of NSW and Federal Court, including with;
- drafting court documents including Affidavits, Statements of Claim and Defences;
- attending client conferences, contested hearings and mediations;
- prepare and collate briefs to Counsel and Court Books. - preparation of draft advices to clients; and
- undertaking legal research.
