What’s On OfferAn exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for

an experienced Grants and Partnerships Officer to join our diverse and creative team at the Koorliny Arts Centre here at the City of Kwinana.

This is a part-time position reporting to the Coordinator Koorliny Arts Centre and working alongside a superstar team. As a

brand new role, the Grants and Partnerships Officer will primarily focus on supporting the impact, growth, and financial sustainability of the Centre by identifying and securing diverse

funding sources, and building meaningful relationships with donors, sponsors, partners and arts, culture and creative organisations.

What You’ll NeedTo make an impact in this role you will have…

  • Previous experience in a similar or related role, preferably within local government or the arts sector.
  • Well-developed knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to arts and culture, community development, community engagement, and social inclusion principles.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary practice relating to arts and culture.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, teamwork, communication, networking, and relationship building skills with an ability to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Well-developed analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • A qualification or studies in marketing and communications, arts management, community development, related fields, or extensive industry experience.
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills demonstrated in report writing, record management and correspondence.
  • A current driver’s licence, a Police Clearance and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Availability for after-hours work as required.
