About the role

We are on the hunt for an amazing Graphic Design& Social Media / Content Creator to join our team.

This exciting role would suit an entry level candidate with Graphic Design training and a passion for creating Social Media content - particularly video & photo editing

It is a diverse role with lots of creative challenges. You will report directly to our Mia Fratino Marketing Manager working from our spacious Bayside design headquarters & showroom. 

The role is a unique balance of Graphic Design, high volume Social Media creation, UX, digital editing + content & blog creation – some copy writing will be required. 

You will have day-to-day contact with our Sydney office as well as some of Australia & New Zealand’s top fashion retailers and the opportunity to develop diverse skills within our rapidly growing company. 

If you are the type of person who is serious about building a career in the fashion industry, this role will provide a platform with plenty of scope to learn new skills on the job within this fast-paced team. 

This is not a 'pigeon-hole' job. The successful applicant will be exposed to many different design, marketing & online sales challenges. We will work with you to hone the skills needed to grow and show your talents, as long as you are serious about putting in the effort.

We are one of the few vertically integrated cashmere knitting companies, manufacturing in-house, from first designs to finished garments. Summary 

• You have a hunger to create high volume Social Media content – video and photo editing skills to boot!
• You have strong knowledge of Graphic Design principles & skills to execute (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator) 
• You have a well-trained design aesthetic and understanding of font hierarchy 
• You have a passion for UX, content creation, videography and can surprise with your ideas  
• You like to think big and are constantly learning new things – you get excited to solve problems
• You have copy writing skills with finesse to execute brand narrative for a luxury brand.  
• You have excellent verbal communication skills because what you say and how you say it reflects on our brand
• You are extremely organised and self-motivated 
• You naturally focus on 'the details' to make sure things are correct
• You have a keen interest in fashion
• You own a pair of runners because you will not be sitting all day!

Duties and Responsibilities will include the following

• Creating high volume Social Media content – for local and European markets  
• Executing Social Media scheduling and blog content 
• EDM campaign creation – Klaviyo or Mailchimp experience preferred  
• Following briefs to create graphic marketing material - POS boards, swing tickets & look books + image editing (Photoshop) 
• Managing print logistics
• Shopify e-commerce – product uploading and retouching of images & assisting to improve online UX experience 
• Brand narrative /copywriting – composing content for website, blogs + EDMs 
• Assisting with photoshoots and styling - some travel required
• Assisting our Marketing Manager in executing yearly marketing calendar
• Assisting the company not just to keep up in the fast-moving digital space, but to strive well beyond
• Scheduling and calendaring for upcoming planning
• Warehouse “Pop-up sale” assistance – biannual events & assisting with other marketing events  
• Daily office running tasks 

Skills and Experience:

Key Attributes - The things we will be looking for in the right person:

• Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop + Illustrator (image retouching experience preferable)
• Video + photo editing skills 
• Strong head for apps that can be integrated to get things done in more efficient ways
• Well trained (graphic) design aesthetic relevant to luxury branding – with industry refined skills specific to layout and font hierarchy 
• Excellent copywriting skills – with the ability to execute luxury brand narrative  
• Strong experience in EDM campaign building – (basic coding for template edits would be preferable but not essential)
• Experience with Shopify platform – management of products, collections and Apps  
• Proficient planning and organisation skills - ability to independently manage own tasks.
• Background in fashion design and/or relevant industry experience would be preferred  
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy so things get done right – first time
• You are a proactive and forward thinker – to be a step ahead 
• A "Can Do" attitude
