About this opportunity:
Please note, this is a full-time fixed-term opportunity, covering a period of parental leave.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Communications team on a full-time, fixed-term basis to develop and oversee internal and external graphic design communications. This is a dynamic role which will see you act as a brand custodian for ICC Sydney and its sub-brands including Aware Super Theatre and Live Events, as well as our Employee Value Proposition and Culinary offering.
As a passionate and collaborative Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering digital and print graphic communications for internal and external audiences in line with ICC Sydney, ASM Global and ICC Sydney partner (e.g. Aware Super Theatre) brand guidelines. You will prepare a variety of digital advertising graphics content including website banners, animated gifs and eDMs. With a keen eye for detail, you will provide creative and art direction and prepare high quality graphics for our corporate website and digital communication platforms, as well as MS PowerPoint and Word documents. Additionally, you will assist with photo retouching, photography and image library management.
A highly organised self-starter and effective communicator, you will project manage medium to large design projects, including overseeing creative teams and third-party vendors across design and production, obtaining quotes and ensuring quality control. You will develop brand guidelines and templates, and assist with the establishment of communications systems and procedures. You will work collaboratively across the Marketing & Communications team to develop and support marketing and events initiatives and ensure the broader business utilises company branding consistent with brand guidelines and writing style.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Graphic design qualifications or equivalent experience.
- High level proficiency in the use of Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign.
- Minimum 5 years’ recent experience in a similar role desirable.
- Experience in advertising, digital advertising campaigns, animated gifs and brand templates.
- Current knowledge of graphic design and marketing trends.
- Strong communication skills including presenting skills.
- Cross department relationship building and customer service skills.
- The ability to work to deadlines with minimal external assistance.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite, Lightroom, Dreamweaver and After Effects.
