Graphic Designer

With 6 products sitting under the Oolio banner, the opportunity ahead of us is both significant and exciting. Marketing is provided as a shared service to each of these 6 products and our team is growing quickly.

We have a graphic design team, but we need another amazing designer to join us our marketing team. In joining us, you will be a valued member of a committed 'Can Do' Team that understands on-brand communications and consistent use of our strong brand identity are pivotal to our success.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be part of a team tasked with production of Marketing Materials, Digital Designs, and Digital Media. You will know your way around Adobe Creative Suite, understand the importance of UX, the role of story-telling, layout, and colour palettes and will know how to lift a message into a meaningful communication piece. Any MS Office skills will also be beneficial.

What the Role Entails

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be able to show us that you stand out compared to your peers.

You will be working alongside others in the team to produce designs that will be leveraged across our HubSpot websites, emails, print collateral, digital media and tradeshow presence.

If you are successful in joining us, you will:

• Demonstrate your experience in designing advertising, emails, print materials and digital pieces including social media campaigns.
• Showcase a portfolio of work that demonstrates your work and how you tie campaigns together over time and various executions. We do not want moments of brilliance; we want to see stories of brilliance.
• Ensure turnaround times with business stakeholders are met.
• Know how to turn information into a visual story.
• Collaborate with the team to find effective solutions whilst minimising downtime.
• Be proactive and look for improvements at every touch point.

What we are looking for:

Effective communication skills. Your designs must help communicate our core proposition. Therefore, you need to be capable of designing to ensure we simplify technical concepts for different audiences.

• Ability to work to set deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
• A team player.
• Strong design skills and an eye for detail, ensuring flawless execution.
• A can-do attitude and a passion to do things better.
•  Formulating design concepts for the subject to be communicated.
• A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field would be highly regarded.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
• Strong layout, typography and typesetting skills.
• Robust capability using Adobe Creative suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Understanding of HTML Design allowing you to develop concepts that can be implemented would be beneficial.
