Working closely with our dynamic sales and marketing crew, you'll take the reins on crafting designs for promotional, print, and digital projects along with some social media management magic - turning mundane concepts into magnetic, share-worthy content that sets brands on fire!
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and transfer of client artwork on promotional product design. Your expertise in this area is crucial during the promotional product sales process.
- Ensure all designs meet clients' brand guidelines, product templates and print set-up requirements.
- Designing graphic elements for marketing campaigns – digital, web, print media, billboards etc for internal and external clients.
- Develop content from concept to completion, creating content that stands out in the world of social media.
- Creating artwork and design across platforms ie Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite and online (Canva).
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating impactful visual content whilst maintaining a consistently high quality of work.
- Basic skills in copywriting and editing of digital images as required.
- Experience with WordPress and email marketing software is desirable but not essential.
- Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Formal qualifications in graphic design and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. Experience criteria can be less for exceptional candidates.
- Experience in a professional environment working with graphic design software (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Lightroom, Canva etc)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating solid design skills across a range of design projects in print and digital media.
- Must be well organised (time management) and have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritise projects and complete tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to multitask (adapt quickly to unexpected changes in workflow).
- Understanding the management of social media platforms and the ability to create engaging content utilizing best-use software.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of graphic design trends and technology.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365/SharePoint, with the ability to effectively collaborate and manage files within these platforms.
- Experience with file compression/optimization techniques and adherence to naming conventions for efficient file management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Whilst your primary role is a Graphic Designer, this is not a designer-only role. You will be expected to develop and post social media content, work hand-in-hand with our sales team and production staff, assist with event and marketing activation implementation where required.
You will be creative, hard-working and able to withstand the occasional day of high pressure. We don't expect you to know everything, but we do expect you to willingly learn from our very helpful team.
