About The Role:
Are you ready to elevate your career? Compare the Market is on the lookout for a talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of creating visually captivating designs across both traditional and digital channels. As part of Compare the Market’s in-house agency, you’ll transform marketing briefs into compelling visuals that inspire Australians to compare.
You’ll also tackle design tasks for internal documents and presentations, while supporting the design needs of our Customer Experience Marketing (CXM) team. When collaborating with external agencies, you'll ensure brand consistency and oversee the correct application of our brand codes. Your keen eye for detail will help maintain the integrity of our brand assets, ensuring they align with our brand code library. This is a unique opportunity to use your creative skills to make a significant impact.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute innovative design concepts for a variety of marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, print collateral, web visuals, and more.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
- Ensure delivery of campaigns on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.
- Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, content creators, and other team members to brainstorm and develop creative campaigns.
- Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders, effectively communicating the creative rationale and incorporating feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality design work.
- Utilise data and performance metrics to inform and refine design decisions, creating graphics that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also drive engagement and conversions.
- Maintain expertise in industry-standard design software and stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or similar discipline.
- Demonstrated professional graphic design experience, preferably within an in-house marketing team or creative agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across digital and print media.
- Comprehensive skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Animate, and InDesign) and Figma.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and building eDMs, and testing in various email clients through Litmus.
- Experience with Salesforce Content Builder or similar email marketing programs.
- Experience building animated HTML5 display banners for Google and online news networks.
- A passion for design with an innate understanding of aesthetics (composition, colour, typography, etc.).
- Ability to generate original and engaging design concepts that align with marketing objectives.
- High level of precision and attention to detail in design work.
