The Advertising Works is a dynamic media agency specializing in retail, hospitality, tourism and sporting clients. We are dedicated to delivering creative solutions that engage and captivate audiences. As a growing agency, we are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team in a part-time capacity, two days per week.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in retail design and advertising. The perfect candidate will possess a creative flair, technical proficiency, and a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to produce visually stunning and on brand graphics. Experience in a high volume, fast paced position, either in-house or agency will be ideal.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design: Working alongside our Senior Designer to produce high-quality graphic designs for print and digital media, including brochures, point of sale, banners, social media graphics, and more.
Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their branding, objectives, and vision, and translate these into effective visual solutions.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Stay Current: Stay updated on industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/diploma or equivalent in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field. Proven experience (2+ years) in motion design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Familiarity with motion and animation will be a plus
(HTML5 Banners/Premiere Pro/After Effects)
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for sports and retail marketing.
