About the role ..
As a qualified greenkeeper you'll play a crucial role in preserving the beauty of our greenspaces. Your responsibilities will include turf management, pest control, irrigation, and equipment maintenance. The role is Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm with weekend work required once a month, 4 hours Saturday and Sunday morning. Flexibility with rostering will be required.
Your day to day responsibilities include:
· Keeping areas clean & tidy / removal of rubbish
· Weeding and watering of grounds
· Trimming, mowing or surrounds etc using hand held equipment
· Assist in preparing of playing areas , fields, bowling greens etc
· Assist with green maintenance
· Operations and minor maintenance of motorised equipment ( that does not required a specialised license)
· Assist with the maintenance , renovation, reconstruction of greens, fairways and playing services. Including mowing, rolling , top dressing, seeding, planting and pruning.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will require the following qualifications, skills & experience:
· Previous experience in as a greenkeeper in sport fields and bowling greens
· Relevant qualification Cert III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent
· Experience in Chemical application (AQF3) and experience in irrigation
· Knowledge of basic horticulture and grounds maintenance practices.
· Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools.
· Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
· Dedication to maintaining a safe and attractive outdoor environment
· Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills;
· Possess a "Yes, can do" attitude
· Ability to follow instruction;
· Ability to understand written and verbal instructions;
· Be able to demonstrate an understanding of WH&S policies & procedures
