Experience we are seeking
- You must be experienced in a Grocery Store environment,
- A strong focus and skill-set around fruit and veg is preferred.
- Strong kitchen skills would be a bonus. Definitely a willingness to take food hygiene and cleanliness seriously is a must.
- You must be willing to work with, teach and guide younger staff members to get the job done.
Tasks, Responsibilities and ‘must-haves’
- The role involves managing the afternoon/ closing shifts of the store. Typically you'll work with 2-3 other staff through the busy afternoon trade and then manage the cleaning, re-stocking and preperation of the store for the next day. All round Grocery Store work as required. Hours would be around 25-38 hours per week. We are open to either casual or full/part-time employment basis.
- Strong customers service is a must.
- You will be hard working with an energetic personality.
- Good personal presentation is a must- you set the standard for the shift you run.
- Good time management skills.
- Friendly, approachable and a positive team player
- Regular and repetitive lifting including the ability to regularly lift up to 20kgs.
- Previous retail or supermarket experience is essential.
Afternoon and Evening work is also available for junior staff.
