Position Details
St Patrick’s Catholic School is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students in a co-educational setting from Kindergarten – Year 6.
We are seeking a part-time Groundskeeper and Maintenance Worker to fill a role of five hours per week (0.2 FTE). There can be flexibility as to the day/s of the week worked to suit the successful applicant.
Duties will include lawn maintenance (mowing, whipper snipping, fertilising etc) as well as general maintenance/handyperson tasks. Tools and equipment provided.
Selection Criteria
• Skills and experience in lawn care.
• Skills and experience in maintenance and repairs including use of a variety of tools.
• An ability to use initiative.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Neat and tidy personal appearance and a willingness to conduct his/her work in accordance with the requirements of a school environment.
• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the role and a focus on safety as the highest priority.
