Groundsman - Next Generation Clubs

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs is a growing Health and Lifestyle business with operations in Adelaide, Sydney, Perth, Canberra, Melbourne and Auckland.
We are looking for a Groundsman to join us in this key role to ensure that our members are having a great time using our facilities. You will oversee and ensure our grounds are maintained to an exceptional standard at all times. You will be working in a fun and vibrant environment so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and someone who works well as part of a team.
The Role
The role requires early morning starts (5am). To be successful you will have solid general maintenance skills and be reliable. We aim to provide a happy, inviting and safe culture where we aim to make Next Gen a great place to work.
Experience/Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safe work practices including WH&S
• Worked in a professional and customer service environment
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Very good interpersonal skills, you will be interacting with a lot of people
• A pro-active approach to identifying maintenance issues
• Experience maintaining grounds

About You

• Ability to work unsupervised
• Operate most gardening and power tools
• Forklift license desirable

Must have’s

• Current Proof of Right to work in Australia
• Current Working with Children Clearance
• Experience with managing, recruiting and developing teams desirable
