Furthermore, you will have specialist knowledge and relevant experience in coaching, family violence and the MARAM framework, parenting support services and strengths-based intervention support. - Tertiary qualified in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Counselling or similar discipline/s, with proven experience within the field
- Minimum 4 years' experience working as a practitioner within the community sector
- Demonstrated understanding of family violence, trauma, MARAM, and of the Child, Youth and Family service acts, Child safe standards and related legislation/s
- Experience facilitating groups, coaching practices, and strengths-based work to vulnerable families and/or individuals
- Sound problem solving skills and time and crisis management abilities
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Flexibility to work outside standard working hours to provide groups after hours.
- Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible.
- Current Victorian Drivers' Licence.
- Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks.
