This is your opportunity to join carsales in the role of Finance Manager – International. Reporting to the International CFO, you will provide financial support and advise to the International CFO and the regionally based international finance teams.

You will be a strong communicator who is confident in leading conversations with senior stakeholders and will be comfortable working across financial planning and analysis, financial accounting and internal controls to ensure that the information provided by international markets is of a high standard.

Our Finance team has a full understanding of how each of our business units work, as they collaborate and share ideas with all our teams to ensure we are always delivering the best possible user experience to our customers.

What you’ll do

• Deliver value added commentary and insights on the monthly results of international markets.
• Monitor and analyse business performance for international subsidiaries against budget and set monthly performance reviews with key stakeholders in respective businesses.
• Collaborate and connect with indirect reports, this includes the Australian based financial control team and the LATAM Finance Manager.
• Work together with all Finance Managers and Financial Controllers of international entities.
• Assist with product related rollouts and commercial projects.
• Ensure sound controls across international subsidiaries that will prevent fraud and instil good governance.

What we are looking for?

• Demonstrated understanding and expertise in relevant accounting experience.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA).
• Ability to partner with stakeholders and demonstrate confidence in leading conversations at a senior level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar accounting programs advantageous.
