About the role
Are you a dynamic and strategic-minded professional with expertise in commercial management? Babcock is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Commercial Manager. As a Commercial Manager, you will excel in driving performance, value for money, and contract compliance across complex projects. Your leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate commercial complexities will be essential in optimizing Babcock's commercial interests and managing project risks effectively.
About you
As a Commercial Manager at Babcock, you will play a pivotal role in supporting contract compliance activities to deliver the JP 9101 EDHFCS Program in Australia, with support from the UK. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to- Leading all commercial and subcontract management activities from an Australian perspective, including supporting Babcock UK’s project team in managing commercial aspects ahead of the project transition to Babcock Australasia. Implementing systems and procedures to support the transfer of knowledge and technology from Babcock’s UK project team to Australia. Establishing intellectual property and information management processes and providing training to project team members. Preparing and reviewing head contract changes and other contractual documents, including non-disclosure agreements, leases, consultancy agreements, teaming agreements, and contract variations.
