AddressMy client are a global Retail business who are currently seeking a talented Group Financial Accountant to join their team. The Role
Reporting to Financial Reporting Manager, your primary responsibilities will cover month end, half year and year end reporting obligations and more specifically:
- Month-end closing process inclusive of reconciliations, journals etc
- Assisting in year-end financial accounting and statement preparation
- Preparation of the monthly pack for presentation to the board
- Providing value-added commentary of the financial performance of the business on reports
- Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Continuous improvement of procedures and processes to improve efficiency
- Key point of contact with the auditors
- 3- 4 years of experience, preferably working in a Big 4 or Mid Tier firm, within Audit
- CA qualified
- Demonstrable strong communication skills
- Motivated to progress with a dynamic organisation amongst a high performing finance team
