The Role
Working closely with the CFO this role will initially be responsible for:
- Group consolidation of the international entities
- Oversight of all statutory obligations
- Oversight of cost and internal controls
- Leading month-end reporting, ensuring the financial integrity of the accounts
- Oversee the audit function ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Responsible for GST, BAS, IAS preparation and lodgement
- Management of three accounts staff
The hiring manager is also keen to make full utilisation of PowerBi and adaptive insights. If you are interested in honing your systems & analytics skills, there is ample opportunity to scope out some proficiency in this area.
Your Background
The hiring manager is looking for someone who:
- Is fully CA or CPA qualified
- Has group consolidation experience, highly desirable this would be overseas entities
- Is currently a Group FC or similar
- Loves developing reports and creating meaningful presentations to the relevant stakeholders. You have a keen interest in technology.
- A curious mindset
- Is still eager to progress your career and looking for stepping stones to a CFO role
