The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Group Fitness Coordinator to work with our great team to head up the group exercise department. This is a part time position. With many exciting program developments ready to launch be part of the future of Group Fitness at this iconic facility.
Does this sound like you?
- Experienced instructor with group exercise.
- The ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Have an understanding of Group Fitness programs and the timetable and develop the classes and their instructors.
- Ability to recruit instructors.
- Monitor existing instructors and evaluate the program regularly.
- Help develop instructors by providing training and leadership
- Able to relate well with staff and members.
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
- Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, or Group Exercise Instructor (GEI).
- Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or equivalent
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Les Mills and Pilates )
- Working with Children's Check
- Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
- Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
