The Coral Tree Inn is seeking an energetic, outgoing, committed and experienced Guest Service Agent to join our fabulous fun team.
As the receptionist you will be responsible for the smooth running of your shift, including several key areas, not limited to:
- Guest satisfaction, including check-in and check-out
- Ensure all reservations, cancellations and no-shows are processed efficiently, including groups
- Working unsupervised & managing a busy front desk/ hotel operation on the PM shift
- Undertake general office duties including reservations, correspondence, emails and phone calls
- Resolving guest complaints
- Managing OTA booking sites, including reviews
- Report crosschecks/ reporting to the General Manager
- Cash, credit handling & billing
- Tour bookings & advice
- Room allocations
- Assist in other departments, housekeeping & the restaurant if needed

- Previous hotel (accommodation) front office experience, minimum 1 year
- Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster (day, & evening shifts)
- RoomMaster & Siteminder experience would be an advantage
- Current food handling certification or willing to obtain
- Australian residents only will be considered for this position
This is a Part-Time role involving a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays depending on operational demands. Previous hotel experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
