Guest Service Agent

Come and work with Majestic Hotels, South Australia's largest boutique, locally owned and operated accommodation group comprising of six properties located throughout Adelaide, North Adelaide and regional South Australia.  

The Majestic Oasis Apartments is a 4-star property featuring 75 modern studio, one and two bedroom self-contained apartments overlooking the stunning foreshore of the Upper Spencer Gulf.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will play an important role in the Front Office department providing an exemplary service to our guest experience. The role involves all aspects of Front Office Reception, including providing professional friendly and personalised customer experiences, responding to accommodation enquiries and administration duties. Great attention to detail is required, especially around reservations, ensuring full and accurate data is captured. You will get the chance to take ownership of what you do and be surrounded by an incredibly energetic, talented and motivated team.

Duties

• Provide an efficient and timely check in / out service
• Promote and sell Majestic Hotels & Apartments products at all times
• Present rooms to potential customers
• Manage incoming calls with a professional approach
• Receive and conduct reservation enquiries efficiently
• Allocation of guest rooms on a daily basis
• Accurate processing of cash in line with policy and procedure

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for customer service
• Excels at multi-tasking
• Approaches all tasks with a high attention to detail
• Is able to work autonomously
• Has proven experience in a similar role within a 4 and 5 star environment
• Experience using Opera PMS or similar property management system.
• Has previous experience in a customer service based role
• Is an enthusiastic, but professional, effective communicator

A full Australian driver's licence is highly desirable.

This is a part-time position working 20 hours over a 7 day rotating roster.
