About the role:
We are actively recruiting a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team in a unique combination role that encompasses Pool Caretaker, Housekeeping, and Guest Service Attendant duties. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic all rounder who can seamlessly look after our geothermal pools, provide immaculate housekeeping, and deliver outstanding Guest Service. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work casually at the Metung Country Club, further enhancing your experience in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain pool cleanliness and safety, test and balance pool temperatures, ensure all pool equipment is functioning properly, and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas, replenish room supplies, ensure guest area's are welcoming and comfortable, and report any maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, provide information about the hot springs, local attractions, and services, handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally, and assist in booking reservations and managing guest accounts.
- Ensure the safety of guests and staff and administer first aid when needed.
About you:
- Prior experience in pool maintenance, housekeeping, and/or Guest Services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and chemical handling (training can be provided).
- All employees are required to complete a National Police Check prior to commencement of employment.
