An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and charismatic person to join the team at 24fit Mount Gambier as Gym Manager.

It is a part time position with of 15 - 24 hours expected per week. 
Start date is June 2024.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Our Gym Managers are responsible for ensuring that we are providing a welcoming, positive environment for all our members.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

·         Managing membership software and database

·         Inducting and welcoming new members

·         Instruct group fitness classes

·         Help promote the gym and drive membership growth with marketing initiatives    

·         Rostering

·         Stock management

·         Coordinating weekly checklists and paper work

·         Liaison with General Manager

·         Community engagement and promotion

·         Maintaining gym cleanliness and hygiene to 24fit standards

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will demonstrate at interview:

- They can work well in a team environment

- They are outgoing and enjoy building relationships with a diverse group of people. 

- Have a good attention to detail

- Have a passion for health and fitness and enjoy helping people achieve their goals. 

- Flexibility in availability. 

- Experience in delivering high quality group fitness classes. 

The following are essential:

• First Aid certificate
• Minimum Certificate 3 in fitness
