• Part Time role - 58 hours per fortnight

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Haematology Laboratory is a busy, modern laboratory performing a range of diagnostic investigations.
We are seeking an experienced Scientist to join us as a key member of our team. You will have a passion for Haematology and pride yourself on quality and service excellence in laboratory testing. We anticipate you will have previous diagnostic laboratory experience and will work as part of a committed team who share responsibility for the daily activity in this section.
Your new role:

• Routine Haematology and Blood Bank work including accurate and reliable testing.
• Investigate and resolve issues within the laboratory environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team within the laboratory as well as with colleagues across the organisation.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekend and evening shifts as well as on call.

About You:

• You have previous Haematology / Blood Bank experience.
• You have great communication and teamwork skills.
• You demonstrate initiative and contribute to continuous service development and improvement.
• You work collaboratively and support a safe work culture.
