The opportunity has become available to join our dedicated team of Hand Therapists in Fitzroy, supporting our leading surgical team.Applications are invited from Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with consolidated skills in the treatment of post-surgical conditions impacting the upper limb.The team work closely with the Hands and Plastic Surgery units, with the caseload largely consisting of referrals from hands and plastics, orthopaedics and the emergency department, creating an interesting and complex trauma caseload in addition to elective surgery patients. Duties include acute care of inpatients, outpatients and Plastics Clinics. Experience with acute splinting and wound care is essential.
