Our Hotel
The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is a Heritage Listed 364 room, five-star classic hotel located between Sydney's best shopping and the Sydney Opera House.
The Role
A great opportunity for a passionate Handyperson to join our friendly, welcoming and diverse workplace! As a Full Time Handyperson you will be part of a small, tight-knit team and contribute in the maintenance and repair of our well-maintained heritage-listed hotel. You will be responsible for a wide range of repairs and preventative maintenance work in and around the property to ensure that our hotel is operating in peak condition.
About You
- Previous experience as a Handyperson in hotels, apartments, hospitals or shopping centres is desirable (but not essential)
- Lead and utilise your knowledge in Work, Health & Safety practices
- Ability to safely lift up to 15kg
- Be able to meet deadlines, take initiative and have the ability to work well under pressure
- Be well groomed and customer focused to create memorable moments for our guests and to build lasting relationships with your colleagues
- Experience with tile grouting and painting will be viewed extremely favourably
Pay rates
Our rates are as per the Hospitality Industry General Award. Please see current base rates below:
Mon-Fri: $24.87 per hour plus superannuation
