About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Account Manager to join Godfrey Hirst Floors and join the New South Wales team.
Your main responsibility as the Account Manager is to cultivate, nurture and grow the current sales pipeline. You will maintain existing relationships with flooring retailers (including buying groups and independents) throughout Sydney Metro areas who stocks Godfrey Hirst carpets (the role will also involve some degree of country travel).
Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Godfrey Hirst products and brands, keeping retailers up to date with products and prices and providing merchandising support.
You will be provided with an amount of autonomy to ensure you forge strong relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
An attractive package, consisting of a base salary, incentive scheme (paid monthly) and a fully maintained vehicle is offered.
About the Successful Candidate
Your charisma and ability to build rapport is what set you apart from your peers. You pride yourself in your ability to listen to clients’ needs and are known in the industry for going the extra mile. Even though you enjoy working autonomously you are energised by collaborating and supporting the team to achieve shared objectives.
You have in-depth knowledge of Hard Flooring including Timber, Vinyl, Laminate and Hybrid flooring. Although this would be preferred it is not essential.
You are eager to achieve sales targets and think outside the box to get results and stand out from our competitors.
