We are looking for an adventurous, motivated person to join our Edmonton team as a Paint Specialist. This role brings together all things Paint to service our customers with the right knowledge and advice. 

Whilst predominately a paint based role our store and product offering is very diverse providing a wide range of both trade and retail products. You will get the opportunity for ongoing training and development to improve your skills, knowledge and the chance to work in different areas of the store whilst pursuing growth and learning on a daily basis.

Our roles suit those who are willing to work in a team environment where no two days will be the same.

This role may also require weekend work.

Prior experience working in the paint industry either as a painter, contractor, specialist or in a retail environment is required, hardware knowledge is highly advantageous. 

• Colour matching, tinting and mixing paint
• Extensive customer service including sales, orders & quotes
• Undertake regular product training with market leading brands
• Have a commitment to ongoing job security
• Build, maintain and raise standards across all aspects of the branch to ensure high quality customer service at all times
• Provide assistance where required with other departments
• Monitor stock levels to ensure supply and demand needs are met
• Fast paced learning environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Passion for all things paint
• Colour mixing and matching expert
• Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods 
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy 
• Ability to cross sell product ranges to builders for a one stop shop approach
• High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
• Have a commitment to ongoing job security
• Finally have a ‘hands on’ with a 'can do' attitude
