What will You be doing:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee our operations in the Queensland regions in our Safety & Industrial business unit. Directly reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, this role encompasses a range of key responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Leading, motivating, coaching, and inspiring the sales team to achieve their field based KPIs and objectives.
- Strategising customer relationship development and call planning.
- Conducting in-field training and development initiatives.
- Operating autonomously while maintaining consistent management reporting.
- Executing the sales strategy within the field.
- Establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with our key distributors and end users.
What We Seek:
This role demands a results-driven individual with exceptional leadership skills, a technical sales background, and a track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, including but not limited to:
- Experience in sales or sales management within the industrial, MRO or safety equipment supply industry.
- An existing network and established relationships within the QLD safety equipment market would be highly regarded.
- Essential qualities include a “can do” attitude, initiative, drive and action; a practical person who can lead by example, instil and build on a culture of vigilance and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Confident, engaging approach and a natural ability to communicate with a variety of people at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with conflicting priorities and personalities.
- Hands-on, forward thinking and detail oriented.
