About the role
Part of the Northeast Auto Group, Big Chief Hire is a Truck and Machinery company supplying various truck and earth moving equipment and highly skilled operators.
As one of our Local HC Drivers you will be responsible from transporting machinery, Trucks and other vehicles throughout South Australia to our clients on time.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Transporting freight locally
- Maintain a commitment to safety standards and COR requirements at all times.
- Conducting daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue management guidelines.
About You
- Current HC or MC License with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
- Good Driving record
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Low Loader experience (desirable)
- Experience with loading and unloading earthmoving machines
- Knowledge of Adelaide Metro and local country areas
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to adapt in demanding and high pressure environments
