AddressYAKKA TRANSPORT PTY LTD is currently seeking 2 experienced Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary $71,200 per year, along with superannuation benefits. The successful candidate will be required to commit to a two-year contract, reflecting our commitment to fostering long-term relationships with our clientele.
As the chosen candidate, you will need a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and will play a vital role in efficiently delivering and picking goods from various places in SA. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct thorough checks on trucks are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and stock levels on delivery trucks.
- Establishing positive relationships with customers through effective communication.
- Conducting routine checks on trucks to ensure safety and proper maintenance standards.
- Ensuring the security of cargo during transportation complying with load/weight restrictions.
- Verifying documentation before delivery and pickups.
- Positioning trucks safely and appropriately for loading and unloading.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying documentation.
- Ability to perform routine checks on trucks and basic maintenance.
- Physical fitness for handling loading and unloading tasks.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
