The Role

Become a part of a speacialized Field Service team Based out of Mt Thorley 

• Performing the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment on multiple sites 
• Assisting with machine overhauls and component change outs
• Conducting required inspections to ensure maximum equipment utilization is maintained.
• Mobilization of fleets into and between out projects

What's on Offer

• 5/2 or 4/3- or 9-day fortnight Dayshift only 
• $72 -$82 PH Casual Base Rate
• Plenty of Overtime available
• $83 - $93 PH OT
•  Initial 6-month contract (potential of an ongoing position for the right candidate)

Mandatory Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate 
• Hold a Current NSW Certificate of Proficiency or the ability to obtain one through Services NSW 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety and workplace health and safety standards

Desired Criteria:

• In depth knowledge of Caterpillar SIS and ET
• Experienced in Caterpillar diagnostics.
• Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu and drill experience highly regarded.
• Working at heights certificate
• Confined space certificate
• MDG25 certificate
