Form of workThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our multi-award winning cheese manufacturing operation as Head Cheesemaker.
The position will play a key role leading the making, maturation and packing of artisan cheese, 15 minutes from Hobart CBD in the renowned Coal River Valley Wine Region.
Coal River Farm is a leading food manufacturer with seven retail stores throughout Australia, a thriving wholesale business and a focus on traditional, hands-on techniques.
The cheese operation forms a key part of the business along with other artisan activities onsite (chocolate, wine, restaurant) offering tastings, production observation areas and other customer focused activities.
Reporting to the owners you will be a key team member leading all areas of cheese manufacturing. This is a hands-on role that combines the need for an excellent eye for detail and a willingness to get your hands dirty and get the job done.
