We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team.
Working closely with the General Manager you will:
• Manage and drive the venue’s kitchen and catering activities.
• You will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the production and delivery of high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
• Planning and preparing all kitchen requirements for the delivery of quality and consistent meals
• Managing food costs, budgets, staffing and rostering for the kitchen operations
• Monitor and manage all WHS and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and resolve or escalate incidents or concerns as necessary
• Creating, planning and implementing bistro and function menus
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experienced leading a busy kitchen team
• A collaborative approach with management
• A keen eye for the detail
