Diggies Kiama was established in 2019, and has fast become an iconic institution for both Kiama locals and tourists. Situated next to the Blowhole, we are a venue that does it all – from daily brunch and lunch service to sundowner sessions, weekend dinners, functions and events. We pride ourselves on our carefully curated Modern Australian menu, featuring fresh and local ingredients, and our ability to deliver unforgettable dining experiences to our guests.
What are we looking for?
We want to hear from you if you are a passionate and professional Head Chef with:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a similar, high-volume venue
- The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to manage a small team of dedicated and likeminded individuals
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Expertise in menu development
- Proven ability to manage kitchen inventory, and controlling costs without compromising quality
- Food safety qualifications, with a proactive approach to kitchen maintenance and hygiene
And above all else, a genuine passion for food!
