The Position
- Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a consistently high-quality product; Restaurant Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
- Responsible for food.
- Menu cost, menu planning and design: preferable
- Effective Head office & Front of House communication
- OH&S & HACCP management

Experience:
- Qualified Chef: 1 year (Preferred for Sous Chef)
- Cook: 1 year (Required)
- Have the experience to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Prefer a working background in a seafood restaurant (not essential)
PACKAGE OPTIONS
Head Chef
Full time position with weekly salary of $85k plus super plus and tips and free meals
Sous Chef
Full time position with weekly salary of $70K to 75K plus super plus and tips
Breakie Chef or Restaurant Cook
Award rate with penalty at the weekend plus tips plus super.
