We are seeking a Head Chef and Hotel Chefs to build a new and dynamic team.
The roots of Dawson Hospitality Group emerged from the Banana Hotel Motel and now having proven itself as a the diamond in the rough of CQ hotels and accommodation we are expanding. The historic Dululu Hotel has been completely restored and modernised with class and will be the destination of choice this year. The Theodore Hotel Motel holds its own and will flourish under new ownership supported by a great town community.
Here's what you'll do as Head Chef
- Maintain a hands-on approach to deliver all food experiences from restaurant dining to functions and events
- Collaborate with Venue Chefs to create menus balanced with flare and efficiency
- Drive continuous improvements that support profit and reputation growth
- Oversee all aspects of rostering and stock management to maximize profitability.
- Lead by example to recruit, manage and mentor the kitchen team
- Be a key member of the management team and work closely with the General Manager to ensure the overall success of your team

- Putting your stamp on menu design and food presentation your plate will define our premise
- Organised and focused you will be responsible for day to day food preparation and execution of all meals to the pass, it is the buzz that is alacarte
