If you have experience as a Housekeeper, have high presentation standards and are looking for a full-time role that is permanent, secure, provides holiday leave entitlements, superannuation and is a long-term position, then this is the job for you!
Accom Whitsunday is a long-term established holiday-letting business in the glorious Whitsundays. We have experienced rapid growth and to meet the high demand, we need new team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- You will need your own reliable vehicle and driver’s licence to perform this role as driving to each property is a requirement.
- The ability to work during peak holiday seasons and weekends on a rotating roster.
- Our team supports and helps each other, so being reliable, responsible, a good communicator and a team player are essential.
- Cleaning experience and leading a team in the cleaning industry is necessary.
- The successful applicants will have a good eye for detail, show up on time, have great time management, organisational skills and take pride in their work.
- Leading by example in a fast and efficient manner is a requirement of this role
Tasks & responsibilities
- Purchase and maintain cleaning supplies.
- Manage linen and laundry services
- Clean to a high standard
- Supervision and training of housekeeping staff
- Develop and implement housekeeping standards and procedures and fast and efficient methods of cleaning
- Inspect properties and employee work areas
- Work closely with the quality controller to ensure properties are guest-ready
- Actively clean properties as a part of the housekeeping roster
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Previous head housekeeping experience is not necessary but preferred. Housekeeping experience and a can-do attitude is required.
