AddressTalent Butler is excited to be exclusively working with one of the largest aged care and retirement living owners, operators, and developers in Australia. This well-funded organisation that has a mandate for growth is looking to appoint a Head of Acquisitions to identify and secure off-market development opportunities throughout Greater Sydney and NSW.
This role will primarily focus on identifying, assessing, and securing land and property assets for the acquisition and divestment of assets that are no longer required. This well-capitalised organisation is known for its ability to transact quickly on opportunities following board approval.
It is essential that you demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Able to use quantitative and qualitative analysis to interpret market conditions and trends.
- Develop a strategy to manage the existing land and property portfolio through acquisitions and divestments.
- Identify, analyse, negotiate, and transact on land and property acquisitions.
- Prepare high-level briefing papers and recommendations to senior managers and the board.
- Report and manage key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Establish and build relationships with agencies, private landowners, trusts, and institutions.
It is expected that you will have tertiary qualifications in a property related discipline and a strong background in identifying and transacting on development sites. Excellent presentation and communication skills are a prerequisite, as well as a desire to work for a business with strong values and a clear vision.
