Located in Collaroy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Pittwater House offers a quality contemporary education which seeks to transform individuals, encourage critical minds, and develop responsible global citizens. Established in 1961 and catering for over 1,000 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, Pittwater House is renowned for its innovative ‘Twin Schooling’ structure in which male and female students socialise on a co-educational campus yet benefit from a tailored learning approach in mainly single-sex classes. Boys and girls start their educational journey together in Pre-Kindergarten, then are taught separately in their formative years, reconnect via co-educational Electives from Year 9 and ultimately regroup in co-educational classes for their final two years.
Pittwater House is committed to five key tenets which deliver an exceptional educational experience for students and their families. They are:
- ‘Twin Schooling’ approach.
- The ‘Deep Learning’ learning model.
- Knowing and respecting students, staff and families.
- Well-rounded co-curricular opportunities for a balanced education.
- Excellence in teaching and learning.
Collectively, these tenets create a School environment in which young men and women thrive, prepared for life after school.
