Role Snapshot:
- Highly visible and commercial Head of Data & Analytics role for ASX market leader in Macquarie Park. Hybrid working options available and supported;

- Lead both BI and master data teams;
- Heavy business engagement and stakeholder facing role driving analytical reporting and insights that support executive decision making. You'll sit at the table with key business stakeholders and help them unpick their problems through data; and
- Over time, drive the company's journey to AI / machine learning and other emerging technologies.
- Lead the IT Master Data and Business Intelligence functions and build a high performing team;
- Implement a multi-year Data Strategy for the organisation. Key elements include data governance; data ownership; data protection; data quality; data lifecycle management; master data management and enhanced insights for decision making;
- Plan and organise the allocation of resources to ensure projects and BAU activities are delivered to timelines and SLA's;
- Establish broad and deep relationships with key stakeholders across the organization;
- Engage stakeholders proactively to determine data pain points, priorities and strategies to address;
- Oversee delivery of all data and analytics projects across the portfolio;
- Establish and implement an effective data governance framework, policies, tools and procedures spanning the full data lifecycle;
- Develop a roadmap for BI and analytics to deliver richer insights to support decision making;
- Architect and implement technology solutions to enable effective delivery of the BI strategy and leveraging data warehousing, data lakes, AI, shop floor integration;
- Keep abreast of Data industry trends;
- Define companywide metrics and relevant data sources;
- Provide oversight and guidance in the development and implementation of a master data strategy to ensure processes and ownership are embedded to maintain high quality master data;
- Evaluate and recommend fit for purpose technology tools to support master data management across the organisation; and
- Management of vendor relationships to ensure services delivered are in line with service level and financial objectives.
- Proven experience as a Head of Data;
- Experience in the FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain industry advantageous however all industries encouraged to apply;
- Demonstrated experience executing on a similar data transformation journey. This will include building data management and analytics capabilities across people, process and technology;
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management and communication skills. These are the most important attributes of this role;
- Comfortable managing relationships with the C suite; and
- Friendly, dynamic personality with a growth mindset for continuous learning and improvement. A key personality trait of helping others and your organisation through data enabled decision making.
