Talent Street is seeking a Head of Data and Analytics to lead data informed decision making across a non-profit organisation by ensuring the right data is captured, interrogated and applied to maximum effect.
This would be a great role for someone looking to step into a lead role, on a full time permanent basis, located in Melbourne with a flexible approach to WFH.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data architecture and engineering to ensure that the Data and information needs of the organisation are met with maximum efficiency.
- Manage data operations and the data team’s activities including data extractions, reporting and campaign tracking, database management, supplier engagement, business partner engagement, report and dashboard compilation and digital marketing.
- Build analytics capability in the organisation to ensure optimal data asset returns.
- Develop policies, processes and procedures for best practice data management.
- Ensure database maintenance and data integrity.
- Manage external relationships and commercial engagement with vendors, suppliers, business partners etc ensuring optimal outcomes for the organisation.
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor organisational critical success factors and KPIs
- Ensure the information needs of key stakeholders are met.
- Provide detailed insights from available Data and data modelling.
- Partner with adjacent business segments, (e.g.IT) to optimise the deployment of technologies in the organisation and oversee the development of Data related systems and software.
Does this sound like you:
- Significant experience in data analytics, reporting and database management
- Significant experience working with multiple analytics programs, CRM systems and tools
- Experience in data mapping, building segmentation tools, robust testing and analysis
- Proven leadership and effective team management to include experience leading, establishing standards, strategy, processes and procedures for a new CRM and data team
- Knowledge of Privacy legislation and PCI Compliance
- SQL knowledge, knowledge of Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and associated applications
- Experience in strategy development and implementation
- Sound judgement and strategic decision making
- Stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Productive teamwork and collaboration
- High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data
- Proven project management/project delivery skills managing a diverse portfolio of opportunities
- Budget development and reporting
- Ability to adapt, thrive and deliver in a changing and evolving organisation
- Understanding of marketing automation
- Tertiary education in a related field such as Database Management, Business/Marketing Analytics, Statistical Analysis, or equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience / continuous professional development
