Our client is an Australian owned company providing service excellence in the planning, design, initiation and management of human clinical trials and regulatory affairs services. They support their clients, based both locally and internationally, in the Biopharmaceutical and Medical Device industries. Their mission is to build partnerships with their clients in developing the next generation of therapeutics.
The opportunity
Reporting to the CEO you will provide leadership to the Data Management team for our expanding client who supports national and international trials from Phase I to Phase 4. In addition, you will:
- Provide comprehensive expertise and high-quality service in all aspects of Data Management, CRF design, database build and technical activities and processes.
- Develops Data Management and database development processes.
- Builds and nurtures a robust, cohesive Data Management team.
- Establishes strong communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represents Data Management at internal and external stakeholder meetings.
- Provides input into protocol design and other study documentation.
- Line management of clinical data managers, clinical data associates and database developers.
- Develops proposals and budgets for Data Management and database development services.
- Reviews invoices, revenue recognition and forecasting.
- Defines resourcing requirements, assign resourcing across projects. Identifies resourcing needs and monitors billability of staff.
- Oversees end to end delivery of Data Management and database development services, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget.
The experience
- Tertiary qualified in science, pharmacy, or other related technical qualification
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in a Data Management and clinical research environment, including database development.
- Experience with EDC systems.
- Expert knowledge of Data Management processes, CRF design, database build, external data transfer methods, and technical activities and processes.
